The holiday parade season is kicking off in the Tampa Bay area. Street parades and tree lightings are FREE and an amazing way to celebrate the holidays. It’s also pretty cool to view holiday parades & lights on the water so check out our list of boat parades in Tampa Bay !
Santa Parade and Tree Lighting Downtown St. Pete
Saturday November 25th 2023 at 6:30pm
St. Pete’s 95th annual Santa parade and Tree Lighting will take place on November 25th. The parade will begin at 6:30pm at Albert Whitted park and continue along Bayshore Drive.
The Tree Lighting will follow the parade in North Straub Park.
City of Tampa Santa Fest Parade and Festivities
Saturday December 2nd 2023 at 1pm
The City of Tampa Santa Fest Parade and Festivities is the largest parade in the Bay area.
The parade will start at 1pm at Morgan Street and Madison Street and travels west on Madison street. The best place to view the parade is along Madison Street.
Once the parade is over, the Santa Fest festivities will continue at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. The tree lighting ceremony will follow at 6pm with Mayor Castor and Santa Claus.

Safety Harbor Holiday Parade
Saturday December 2nd 2023 at 10am
The Safety Harbor Holiday parade will at 10am and feature floats, old fashioned cars and Santa Claus himself!
The Tree Lighting will take place on December 1st at 6pm.
Lakeland’s 42nd Annual Christmas Parade
Thursday December 7th 2023 at 7pm
The 42nd Annual Lakeland Christmas Parade “Christmas in Candy Land” will take place in downtown Lakeland. Fireworks display over Lake Mirror at 7pm will kick off the evening festivities!

Holiday WinterFest and Tree Lighting
Friday December 8th 2023 at 5:45pm
Get into the holiday spirit with the City of Seminole’s annual WinterFest & tree Lighting. Includes:
- Holiday craft market
- Live entertainment
- Visit with Santa
- Snow Hill sledding
- Bounce house zone
Northdale Tree Lighting and Movie in the Park
Friday December 8th 2023 from 6pm to 9pm
The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 7:15 followed by the movie The Polar Express.
There will be free nachos, popcorn, hot cocoa and Grinch Punch while supplies last.
Event is FREE but it is recommended to bring a new unwrapped toy to benefit a local charity.
Palm Harbor Christmas Parade
Saturday December 9th 2023 at 11:30
The Palm Harbor Christmas Parade will begin at 11:30am at the corner of 12th St & Delaware Avenue and ends at 11th St. & Michigan Avenue.
Davenport Christmas Parade & Winterfest
Saturday December 9th 2023 at 4pm
The Annual Winterfest will take place at the Tom Fellows Community Center from 4pm to 9pm with food, vendors, fireworks, a snow slide and of course Santa Claus.
The Christmas Parade will start at 6pm.

Clearwater’s Making Spirits Bright Parade
Tuesday December 12th 2023 at 4pm
The Parade will begin at 4pm at Island Way Grill and will travel from North Beach to South Beach.
