Henry Plant Museum is a National Historic Landmark located in the south wing of Plant Hall on the University of Tampa’s campus.
Henry Plant Museum was originally a 511 room resort style hotel that opened its doors on February 5th 1891. Today’s museum is located in the south wing of the original Tampa Bay Hotel.
The museum displays original furnishings and artifacts collected by Mr. and Mrs. Plant.
The museum is an amazing educational exhibit that transports you through the late Victorian period and the beginning of Florida’s tourist industry.

- One Saturday per month the Plant Museum is free of charge to all visitors
- Victorian Christmas Stroll from December 1st to 23rd 2023
