The fall is here and it’s time to start getting in the spirit of Halloween! Check out these amazing family-friendly Halloween activities at the zoo, aquarium and museums to celebrate Halloween in the Tampa Bay Area.

Busch Gardens’ Spooktacular

Busch Gardens’ Spooktacular is a family-friendly Halloween Festival where guests step in a whimsical world of enchantment with Kandy, a wich-in-training! Guests will enjoy a costume parade, story time and trick or treating. Spooktacular casts magical spells from 12-4pm at the Festival Walkway.

Dates: September 9th through October 31st (Saturdays & Sundays + Monday Oct. 30th and Tuesday October 31st).

Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa

Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa is an amazing night of eerie family frights! Kids can expect to enjoy howling outdoor exepriences, spooky characters, creepy culinary treats, dance at the Vampire Ball, enjoy a Halloween light show and more!

Brick-or-Treat Halloween at LEGOLAND Florida

Dates: September 16th to October 29th 2023 on select days

Spirits of the Shallows by Pirate Water Taxi

Join Pirate Water Taxi for a 45-50 minute haunted tour featuring stories of terror and Tampa’s eerie past!

Halloween at The Grand Concourse Railroad

The Grand Concourse Railroad will have a half mile long Spooky Train ride as well as a Scary Trail. Tickets are 8$ per attraction or 15$ for both.

Dates: Fridays and Saturdays from September 29th to October 28th from 7 to 10pm

Riverwalk Trick or Treat

This is a FREE community Event along the Tampa Riverwalk!
Children in costume and their families are invited to come and trick or treat along the Riverwalk. We will have several treat stations participating from Water Works Park to Curtis Hixon Park. Don’t forget to sign up for the Costume Contest, in Water Works Park!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
4:00 PM – Trick or Treating Begins
5:00 PM – Costume Contest
7:00 PM – Trick or Treating Ends

Lights at Spooky Point

Don’t miss the chance to see the Historic Spanish Point campus transformed into “Spooky Point” where you can follow an eerily lit path and encounter fantastic creations and bootanically-themed decorations along the way. Equal parts creepy, campy, and cute, this walk-through show is fun for all ages.

Dates: October 13th to 31st. Two entry times nightly 6:30 & 7:45pm
