Fort De Soto Park

Fort De Soto Park is a beautiful family park within the Pinellas County Park system. It consists of five interconnected islands and offers swimming, kayaking, camping, bicycle paths, playgrounds and picnic areas.

At the heart of Fort De Soto Park lies Fort De Soto fort which has been listed to the National Register of Historic Places since 1977. The park also offers over 7 miles of waterfront with 3 miles of white sandy beaches as well as a paved trail (7 miles long) that connects the different islands and a recreational canoe trail.

The 2 fishing piers are open from 7am to sunset and both have food & bait concessions.

The entrance fee is 5$ per car. Annual passes are available.
