The Humane Society of Tampa Bay gives kids who love animals a chance to spend time with them all while improving their reading skills!

Paws for Literacy is a FREE program recommended for children ages 5 & up. The program pairs children with homeless pets who will listen to their stories.

The program takes place every Tuesday & Thursday from 2:45pm to 4pm on the 2nd floor Mezzanine area at the main shelter building of the Humane Society.

The Humane Society is located at 3607 N. Armenia Avenue in Tampa.
